Stainless steel Skaggs. Carbide is a super hard metal that they put into a regular Skaggs for much improved turning traction . Anyway you built a awesome model rc that rips good job 👏 👍

At that scale, what would be 60mph on a regular size model be about equal for this scaled down version. ( hopefully that makes a bit of sense to someone lol)
@Pascal_Robert--Rc_Creations7 ай бұрын
So far this sled has gone about 30 to 40 mph. That would be x5 because its a 1:5 scale. Basically 150 to 200 mph in scale speed😁 But there's a lot of potential left on the table if speed was the main goal. It could easily go 60 mph

@@antti-veikkohiltula any hobby shops can have all of the stuff i used. Its basically a 1/10 scale brushless electronics kit. It was about 700$ as i have high end stuff, but you can get some of that for way less. Maybe closer to 250$

@Pascal_Robert--Rc_Creations7 ай бұрын
If it was aluminium, it would be far heavier. Not ideal for performance. It would also make the building process a lot more complex, but thanks for the input :)
