How about this is your work. You get paid only when plane is moving. The hour salary must be so freaking high because you must cover spendings in layovers too and you dont get paid for those. Like office workers, they have something like 20 workdays per month when they get paid. You have like 5-7 (days when you fly) salary must be way good to cover all those days which are not paid?
