You are a great teacher and motivator. After watching your excellent video I contacted Cane Masters and told them I was there because of you. They were very helpful and outfitted me with a training cane. My journey has begun. Please continue with your videos so that I might train and gain the skills necessary to defend myself and the ones I love.

Thanks for the video! I had a pretty good cane and staff workout last night. I worked the ceiling block a bit followed by the two-handed bayonet thrust. I also worked the defense for an attack from behind.

I have practiced the martial arts since 1966, I liked your presentation. Recommend you show the yawarri stick. Haven't seen any on that ancient weapon. Small but deadly. God bless.

I’ve had a CaneMasters cane for a long time as I needed it for a bad knee. The knee has since been replaced twice. I still love that cane for it’s defensive capabilities although I carry a weapon (pistol) almost all the time. I love the suggestion of keeping it in my truck for use when I go into non-permissive environments and particularly the gas stations. I fill up sometimes late at night. It would be a great keep your distance tool and can be used non-lethally.

Approximately how much should a defense cane weigh? What would you consider to be too heavy for most people? Thanks
@pasquinilli2 жыл бұрын
Light and strong. I like the cane masters hickory 7/8” canes because the smaller diameter makes them lighter and easier to handle but the hickory makes them extremely strong. canemasters.com/affiliate-pages/quantum-martial-arts I’m not sure what the exact weight is. I just go by “feel.“

Thank you Matt ,the 4-H pledge we say at every club meetng you can still take pledge,because the way you handle that 🐷pig cane makes you an honorary four H er🍀! Fun days at the o.c.fair ..we feard no one your absolutly rite there..its a great tool and hooking hogs , womping gave practice on liveing threats. Even people who would try to rob,or hurt you Hogs are very stong and violent. As you said,every pennie is spent ,so to train I have made my own self defence stick from hard cleavland national forest wood thats harder than oak. It had a nott end and a slite sharp L at the knott.18 inches and the nott end is still slim but a ripper so i left it.and still in specks a,self defence stick,I will check out that link!..i can see that your 4H cane is heavier than mine.thank you for being (my) trainer of choice You better by far than any coach in football. With times like this you are prepairing a national allmost total awairness,and preparedness for zombies ..not by so much kung fu or stuff but by enhanceing and giveing us the power andok to use bacic our instinctual tactics .Makeing our retaliation to personal asaullt powerfull,trained and decicive. Like john Wayne said i wont be laid,a hand on..also said he wasent the fastest draw,but wins cuz of others hesitate ..and he wont. Thats the diferance in winning a fite.Your in authority i feel over us ,telling me Caleb its ok.defend yourself do not hesitate. So not only your training but more,so your like were about to land on tarawa..you saying marines ,hit,strike subdue the Enimy. Dont hesitate. Its( the decision ).you have trained into our heads. As much as tactics and practice.first yell get away from me,back away from me. I will defend my self. And if they attack after that. Then go! On that hog. Hes a hog now. Not a person. You hit that hog and take the fire out of that hog! Dont let it gore you .stop him fast,efectively,and decisssssively.. i thank you god sent you to be our trainer.good job too.your getting threw the cobwebs in our heads that would allow us to be hurt.. you care. So we listen.like our dad cares . So he trains his,sons because he loves them and we all love you." As a,true 4 H club member,i pledge my head to clear er thinking,my heart to greater loyalty,and my hands to larger searvice,and my health to better liveing,for my club,my comunity,my country,and my world." I pledge aleagence to the flag of the united dtates of America... thank you Matty! Sempet fi! 🇺🇸

@pasquinilli2 жыл бұрын
Hi Arnold. Power comes from turning the shoulders and hips. Focus on keeping the strikes in front of your body as you turn.

Hahaha. That is a Made Offensive Weapon disguised as a walking stick. Try carrying that in the UK. You CAN carry a genuine walking stick that is NOT made or adapted for causing injury and use that in self defence.
