5:10 "Turtle counts as a guard pass" is a great rule. It should be standard in every roll.
@hedark11354 ай бұрын
Pretty sure even in comps turtling is a guard pass because you’re basically giving your back/a wrestling spin behind. Either way, the gods see you turtle. Don’t do it.

Dope video, really entertaining. Its kind of cool that wrestle-up techniques were most successful here. Its like a randomized bjj simulation/experiment.
@JordanTeachesJiujitsu5 ай бұрын
Thanks man! I agree, it was a cool case study. People still think BJJers can't wrestle... That's not the case anymore. Wrestling is a major part of BJJ now.

1:40 "Use wrestling to win the challenge" is a pretty solid strategy against jiu-jitsu practitioners. It's like an overpower cheat code.

That last bout, if its not a clean one to 2 seconds, it isnt passed. But I realize the non-written rules are super elastic. I had a high level grappler passing my guard last year, he ran literally into my knee shield and he proclaim that he pass my guard completely. An argument insued between me and him, then I decided you now what, you might be high level, you still probably dont know your jiujitsu, so I wont sweat that one. I love this footage. Bravo for your montage.
