I really enjoyed Alan Young's triple role in The Time Machine with Rod Taylor (1960). He would also appear in the remake with Guy Pearce (2002) in a cameo but the original was so much better. Also Sally Ann was lovely in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang especially on the music box. For those of U who have seen this movie you'll know what I'm talking about.

Alan Young was a jerk to the husky guy..he tried to shake Alan’s hand at one point and Young ignored him, and the guy noticed it. Young imho acted a bit like he’d rather be someplace else.

My God Sally Ann’s last partner Bill was incredibly dense. Knowsm you have to go try out for those game shows, and I can’t conceive how he was ever chosen. As a contestant he was as thick as a plank.

Producer Arthur Lubin said that he cast Alan Young as the lead in "Mr. Ed" because he seemed like someone a horse would talk to.

@@dariowiter3078 I know wiki's not always 100% accurate, but: "According to Lubin, Young was chosen for the lead role because he "just seemed like the sort of guy a horse would talk to." Burns' production company went bankrupt and was taken over by Filmways. It is possible George had a position there, but it's dicey saying he was an owner.

Which one? There were two on the show that day. I assume you mean the host Allen Ludden. At least on this show he admitted that he flubbed too much to make it as an announcer. I wasn’t sure until now he had that much self awareness😁
