Paterson State College was originally located in Paterson, NJ. The college relocated to Wayne in 1951. The year before this broadcast, the college began offering degrees in majors other than those that led to a teaching career. In 1971, the name of the school was changed to William Paterson University, reflecting the fact that the school had expanded beyond being just a college and that it was no longer located in Paterson.

He looks very 1960's stylish with that "dry look" haircut (nicely trimmed, but not too short) and solid blue sports jacket. That was a popular look for young guys back then, kind of preppy but classic and fashionable at the same time.
