...looks really good! I don't think you need to pre- cook the Spinach, I never do whenever I'm adding it to whatever I'm cooking that uses Spinach. I think I would add some diced red sweet pepper as well. Yum.

Just put the raw spinach in with the hot pasta and stir it...the spinach will wilt down nicely...why would u microwave it? Rookie move...sorry.

Assuming you don't have any disabilities...you do realize she does you a big favour and that you can cook yourself right? A pasta bake is literally throwing some stuff together and covering the whole thing with cheese. It's not even considered cooking.
