This is not the authentic way to make white sauce pasta! Many mistakes are there, 1st mistake: She should not add the melted butter with flour to the milk it should be the other way round! The milk should be added to the flour and butter mixture bit by bit. 2nd mistake she should not rinse pasta... NEVER EVER rinse pasta its like a crime to food world.... The starch from the pasta is washed away with water which we don't want in a good creamy pasta. A good creamy pasta requires that starchiness coming from the pasta... If you think this is the original authentic way to make white sauce pasta, YOU'RE WRONG!

All good Just a tip penne is used mostly for red sauce pasta / tomato pasta because pastas with holes in it like penne , macroni , cannelloni, these have holes in it where the white sauce enters and it holds the heat in it which while eating makes the hot white sauce to come out and burn the mouth thats why white sauce is used in pasta having larger surface area like fusili or farfalle as the cheesy white sauce cannot be trapped inside
