You read my mind, Making Sausage and Broccoli Rabe tomorrow. One of my most favorite dishes, I may make it your way. Here's a tip, if the rabe isn't available both collard or mustard greens work really well too. Luckily I have a great Italian market that makes perfect sausage. Supermarket sausage is crap. If you are in the east look for Florio Brand, its the best but not sold here on the west coast.

Fantastic Pasquale! I made this dish as Pasquale directed with these exceptions due to what I had in the pantry. I used Barrilla medium shells, 3/4 small white onion diced, broccolini, 1 tsp fennel seed, and 1/2 tsp dried oregano. I used 7 plum tomatoes cuz they were on the smaller side, and I topped it all off with Pecorino Romano rather than Parmesan Reggiano. If you are looking for an authentic Italian meal to warm your soul and make you smile long after the meal is over, then pick any one of Pasquale's many recipe videos and be amazed like I have been time and time again by this authentic amazing Italian comfort food. This dish was so delicious and fun to make. Pasquale! CIN-CIN🍷!

I'd like to point out something my Dad taught me about buying Rapini (Broccoli Rabe) Test the stalks if they bend they are too dry and will be tough. If they snap they will be tender. Good eatin' thanks Pasquale and Son.
