Gotta say I’m taking big guesses here, but I think based on what the description said in Pastarru’s “Circle-Circle, Dot-Dot” animation, saying that “When your dead sister is also a voice in your head after she dies and you die and you both get fused moment. Oh, I guess your previous self is there too because you have identity issues and hardly recognize yourself.” Hope manifested in Nero’s mind and was basically a hallucination/guide to help him see the Truth because of his blessing, only to not be as frequent and be taken by the place of ‘Moth’ one day. (I could be wrong with this next bit.) For those who don’t know who the monochrome character is, that’s Hope, she was Alyssum when she was younger (before the Stars fell), and in a way she was Nero’s sibling because their bodies were both made by Medusa. She had to be hidden from everyone because she couldn’t be blessed by an Angel to save her, though here it looks like Nero and Hope were good friends (just look at Nero’s smile!) but even that had to end… Just like my theory at the top, I think immediately after Cere talked/met Alyssum, both 'remembered’ something about the other and the past, so just like before, Alyssum became a hallucination/guide to help him see the Truth because of his blessing, but with the “Godish” short, she was locked up and away by Vexation to prevent any more memories from being recovered (?) further. What’s below is just extra stuff I think I should add! (KZbin still isn’t letting me show my other stuff (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`) I’m probably wrong, but on Pastarru’s second channel, there’s a short of the Phonky Town trend, and I think there’s a picture of what the early version of what Alyssum looked like. (If I am right, I hope that there might be a callback to her outfit because it looks so cute!) Though during one of Pastarru’s streams, I saw a sketch (?) of what looked to be the after-story Cere and Alyssum; she looked familiar to that one image, so if I’m correct, I called it. Also, at the time of this video, on one of Pastarru’s streams, they showed an image and described some Stars that simply just came into existence with a body without having to be blessed, after which they called to attention the one in the middle. I don’t want to immediately jump to conclusions, but I’m pretty sure that that is without a doubt Hope. Using information from the wiki, it said that her body was made in an emergency. The Stars that “come into existence with bodies” just kind of look like they're made of pure energy/magic/etc., so I believe Hope was fine at one point just being a star without a body, but then something must’ve happened and she needed to have a body to survive, leading to Medusa doing everything she could to make a body in desperation. (Hope is one of my favorite characters next to Aurum ngl)
