Pastel Pencil Art book review

This is the book that started it all for me. it's my absolute favorite. Velour and I don't have a great relationship but Suede matboard and I do. You can also find suede paper online incase you don't want matnoard. I love working on it. it holds on to pastel excellently. my avatar was done on gold suede matboard.

I actually have this book, unless I sold it to a bookstore. Now that I'm interested in rendering animals, I really want to delve into it.

Ha ha ha .....yes Jason .....does sound cynical but it’s just true there really is some terrible trash in some art books that wouldn’t stand a basic accuracy test ( and I’m not referring to stylised art that’s intentionally distorted) but seams the publishers don’t care. Thanks for reviewing some great ones
