Pastillas de leche, also known as pastillas is a popular milk-based candies
originally from the town of San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines. This candy made from cows
or carabao milk is easy and fun to make. Yummy KitchenTV version of the creamy and

Ingredients:
-1/2 liter fresh milk
-1 tbsp unsalted butter
-3/4 cup powdered milk
-1/2 cup sugar
-pastillas wrapper
Procedure:
1. In a pan or pot, pour fresh milk. Cook until reduce in half or until
you have achieved the paste-like consistency.
2. When reduced in half, add butter. Stir a bit then turn off fire.
3. Add powdered sugar and stir until you have formed a sticky dough.
4. Transfer to a clean container and let it cool completely.
5. When dough is cool enough to handle, transfer to a flat surface. Roll out
3 times until you formed a small log.
6. Cut into equal portion.
7. Roll into 2 inch cyclinder.
8. Dredge in white sugar.
9. Wrap in pastillas wrapper, serve and enjoy!
