There's nothing wrong with renting but it should not be for good. That ministry is big with huge membership and a lot of visitors every Sunday. Meaning what is coming in in terms of money is huge. So if they really care for the people following them, they should have bought land or a building. Where there's no vision, that's what happen. When you ve a vision from God, when money comes in, you don't spend everything on buying expensive cars and houses and neglect God who has blessed.

Honestly I don't think there's anything wrong with renting a property at that price to host church activities especially looking at the crowd they have to make room for, and the amenities and services the providers render( central a/c, heat,media installations etc..)..and we all know prices vary from one location to another even in the USA. If you haven't ventured in any mega hosting, talk is cheap....I was a member in a church where they had to expand their mega tent almost every month. And it all depend on where they are located and if you think is too expensive, help them with a cheaper place. Let's be objective in criticism let it be constructive .
