The pace of the grid was so much more even back then, several teams would be vying for a win each weekend and you could have one team be the fastest at one race only to be nowhere in the next and another team(s) to be competing for the win. Not like now where one or two teams are so far clear of the rest it's just a fight between them every race, really hoped the new regs would get us back to the 2012 days but alas.

And how recently he stopped driving! Perez, Ricciardo, Hamilton, Alonso, Vettel (and Hulkenberg occasionally) are still on the grid, Raikonnen only just left. What a day that was. Definitely going to rewatch these highlights show it was possible to overtake in Barcelona and was a much better race than I'd remembered. On the same day as the Aguerrooooo moment for Man City vs QPR too. Something was in the air that day 😅

Japanese 2012 highlights would be awesome especially for a Kamui Kobayashi fan! Also, please focus the race highlights on Kamui's perspective. Also crazy that Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo, Sergio Perez were in their early-late 20s during this time.

The great thing about Maldonado victory is that it wasn’t because of luck, nobody crashed in front and he sneaked to p1 or something like that, he earned his victory with pure talent speed and pace, well deserved. And Kobayashi was a beast in that sauber very underrated driver.
@luuduonghy6592 жыл бұрын
Actually luck involved too He actually qualify in P2 behind Lewis. However Lewis was disqualified from qualifying due to fuel issue, which promoted him to pole. I had to said it is a bit of luck because otherwise Lewis would be 40s ahead of Maldonado
