Every time I hear this video where Jimmy Evans states, "She is the voice Of God to you," IT MAKES ME CRINGE. She is NOT the voice of God at all, NONE OF US ARE~ The spiritual abuse in this released recording is astounding. I cannot imagine all Jonathan has endured through the years. My Grandfather was a Pastor for 55 years. I went to a private Christian high school and college.I have witnessed so much good and bad. Honestly, I have been hurt and seen more abuse in the church than I have ever seen outside the church. Today MANY churches and church leaders, ( I use the term leaders loosely) are no different than the world. There is a reason God's word says in James that Pastors do not get a "pass" because they are preachers. It makes them MORE accountable.

I always had a check with John Paul Jackson. I was very surprised and disappointed with Jimmy Evens. I agree with his teachings on End Times and I was member of Tipping Point. I cancelled my membership with Tipping Point after all this came out. My only issue with some of these commenters is that they put all charismatics in the same camp. We are not all Word of Faith preachers or believers nor are we all a part of the NAR movement.

The three women who brought suit against Daystar for 7.5 million brought suit over being fired from Daystar and treated differently than the men at Daystar that had been involved with them. A disparity of treatment. One of the men was Joni Lamb’s father who had allegedly groomed a young unmarried women to take advantage of her. It was a Texas law firm that brought the suit against Daystar. Marcus Lamb may or may not have been part of that lawsuit. You can research it. I believe that was separate from the three women. Then Marcus and Joni Lamb went on a national TV program to disparage these women as extortionists and claimed it was extortion and these three women were taking the money that sincere people had donated to Daystar in an extortion scheme. It was ABC and the Robin Robert’s show. They covered it up. Whether they paid these women to drop the lawsuit or what I do not know. But it was not extortion and a legitimate Texas law firm brought the case. Rod Saunders tries to be fair and accurate in his work. He is pretty good at getting to the bottom of any persons claims. If you are just repeating what someone tells you it is gossip. If you actually research it and report what actually was said or done it is better.

If you listen closely you'll hear Jimmy Evans refer to Romans 13 (All authority is established by God) when he's talking about Joni being the voice of God at Daystar. I think he's just referring to her being the authority figure as the president of the organization, and that's why Jonathan should do what he's told. He's not saying that she's divine in essence or speaking prophetically or anything like that. So that statement is the least of my concerns in this matter. I'm much more concerned with his browbeating style and his dubious declaration that Doug Weiss had a biblical justification for divorce.

Thanks for the clarification but her son said something about "can't I hear from God" so I believe these people think they have a direct pipeline to God and actually speak for him, I heard one podcaster say Joni was in the kitchen and got a revelation where God spoke to her directly saying "Pete is innocent" she then declared it so and Marcus took that and ended all investigations into the abuse. I would need to verify that but clearly these folks do claim direct revelation at times. That's my take.

I used to attend a church which employed similar tactics (in a subtle way) to try and manipulate and control the congregation. The lead pastor (and his associate pastor wife) were also proclaimed as the voice of God, and submission to them was essential in order to "release" God's blessings and stay in His true purpose for your life. It is fundamentally fear based (which is ungodly). My advice to anyone caught in this type of trap is to pack your bags and walk away.

You are known by the company you keep. I used to watch several of the programs on "Christian television" back in the 90s and early 2000s. Honestly, there was nothing of interest, to me, on daytime television so I turned on our local Christian television channel in Central Arkansas. I watched Copeland and Womack and Meyers, wincing a lot but growing a little stronger in my faith because of them. I would use many of their statements to proof check them with the Bible! However, I wasn't a baby Christian. I had some solid teaching under my belt AND I came out of the New Age directly into Christianity so I could smell false teachings a mile away. I remember a time when my husband came into the room and I was watching John Hagee who happened to have just gotten into his routine. My husband stopped and listened for a minute and then asked me who this guy was. I told him that Hagee was a wannabe comedian who failed at it, so he became a pastor. I don't remember if Daystar was around back then because our local cable company didn't carry them. I don't want to take sides in this mess, or jump to conclusions in any way. To date, the evidence released favors Jonathan and Suzy, but I know there are two sides to every story. The thing I am absolutely sure of is that God knows. We need to remember that Jesus taught us to pray that His Father's will be done!

I am extremely disappointed in Jimmy Evans. I was a supporter of his for years. When my daughter and her husband were going through problems in their marriage i encouraged them to listen to Jimmy Evans. So to hear him say that Joni Lamb qas the voice of God at Daystar or anywhere else is very disheartening. I was completely floored. Im disappointed but I have learned not to put my trust in man but the word of God.

Good morning Pastor. Thank you for your Commentary. It's totally accurate to me! I had a quick comment & question. Pastor Jentenzen Franklin & Dr. David Jeremiah seem sound to me. Do you believe they are sound? And if so, why do you think they continue to Broadcast on Daystar despite these horrible allegations & truths about Joni Lamb & Daystar? Frankin is a wolf, Jeremiah is not. Franklin is a word of faith twister of God's word, David Jeremiah has some problems in that he praised Paul & Jan Crouch and raised money for TBN telling Christians they should send in their money to the Crouch family, that was a huge error but Jeremiah is not a false teacher.

Daystar has apparently sucked in a lot of Pastors who had been preaching the truth of the gospel until a few months before the election. Then all of the sudden, they started pushing away anyone who were against NAR and got into “ you have to vote biblically ( when neither candidate supports biblical views), told believers that Jesus would turn us away if we didn’t. As if we were wicked servants. Now they embrace Alan Didio and other NAR leaders.

I praise the Lord. I was awakened and delivered from these grifters years ago. Joni is under the spirit of deception. The spiritual beating she and Jimmy Evans did to Jonathan and Suzi was sickening. Asking to submit, respect, and accept Doug is a ridiculous request. Respect is earned, and no one should be demanded to accept anyone against their will. Jimmy and Joni need to REPENT!😮
