To be honest i saw this movie only once in my life and i remember having fun watching it. I never took it as an Halloween franchise continuation thought but to be honest that wouldn't change that i liked it, the idea of the masks killing people with bugs and snakes just coming out from the bodies, kid in a horror movie that is not a main character that has no plot armor just because theyre a kid and the overall "modern" type of cult really gets me cause i absolutely love cultist stuff and it was kinda refreshing to see a pretty much way diffrent way of how to show them controling others by such worldwide media throught television in the times when it was the most used way of information and entertaiment after radio brodcasts {even thought i would love to see a concept of a cult using radios to manipulate humanity cause frequency magic or whatev}. Also i really love that silly comercial tune and michael myers small cameo on the little tv screen!

It was super goofy in my opinion, but I did find it entertaining. The idea of a series based around the Halloween season and having a bunch of spooky and scary stories told is a great one! You're not alone... this film has lived rent free in my head for decades (just like the Silver Shamrock jingle...) Frankly, the kid dying to the mask and his head deflating as the roaches pour out of the eye holes is inexplicably one of the most horrifying things I've ever seen on film. It's not the most explicit or graphic, but there's just something about it that has stuck with me where innumerable other horror movie kills just don't.

Your avatar is a good supplement to your commentary and I liked whenever you had other visual aspects like photos and text, but I think the video could use a little more of that. I'd say a good rule of thumb would be to take away your avatar and see if the video is still visually stimulating. The two solutions I can think of are to have more consistent b-roll footage, or to give your character a consistently moving piece such as a mouth that talks. It's good that your avatar changes between different poses, the camera movements are a fine enough touch, and the moving background is better than nothing, but I think the video would greatly benefit from more visuals. I swear I'm not asking for brain rot; please don't put Subway Surfers over everything. 😭

Never seen this film, and although it certainly sounds really fun and interesting, I'm not really a fan of the villians motivation. I'm Irish and my favourite holiday is Halloween, so it being an Irish celebration has always been a point of pride for me. But this movie sorta seems to demonise Celtic culture but making the villian murder children to 'bring the celebration back to its celtic roots.'

I love how Pastra is always “the only person to like something” in horror and then that ends up making that thing more likable. I don’t mean “because pastra likes it I just like it too!” Kind of thing, but he’s so passionate about the way he talks about these things that you can’t help but agree.

I get why people hate it but it’s so good as it’s own movie and I wish it got like its own TV show with each episode or episode plus a part 2 being different stories in either the same or different world how fun great would that be

100% agree. I also wish the series kept going with each movie being its own thing that was based about Halloween the holiday. If you think about it there really is not many Halloween movies. Yes, plenty of horror, but not many movies really based on Halloween as a holiday (Trick r' Treat comes to mind). Halloween with Michael can be set at any time really and most horror movies just think as long as it is scary it can be a Halloween movie. If the series that is literally called "Halloween" was stories based on Halloween I would have LOVED it. I do like Michael, but yeah, he is far from my favorite slasher and I wish his story was just those first two movies. Even the studio agrees since they came out with the new sets that writes out the older ones, but the first one.
