Great video, however you really should have mentioned the backwards whip alignment for the first bomb on the olmec skip, since it doesn't require such a weird visual cue. The block alignment method on the ankh skip was new to me, so thanks for that hint.

same, I always mess it up with the block alignment but I mostly get it with backwhip. You could say that backwhip strat gets harder with paste than just block alignment, but with a little practice I would say I still prefer backwhip

block alignment for olmec skip is better if you have sisters, you won't aggro them with the first bomb and then you can lure them into a pit after the 2nd bomb

There are a few ways to more consistently line up the Olmec skips. With Paste (both with and without pitcher’s mitt) it lines up perfectly to face left and jump against the upper wall, then place a bomb, pick it up, and place it again. Without paste or pitcher’s mitt, backwipping allows you to move left into the upper wall while still facing right, where you can drop a bomb to the right, then whip it once to the left for perfect spacing. Idk if there’s a perfect spacing setup for just the pitcher’s mitt tho, I couldn’t find one

Nice video but you forgot to mention that for udjet skip, the black market can't be on 2-1, and when you go into thr backwall on a level with the black market, the music changes to a low instrument version of the black market theme. On 2-2, 2-3, and 2-4 there are also the vegetable sisters to save with their own guaranteed backwall door spawn, so you can use this knowledge to know if you should be looking for black market or not.

I totally messed up my Olmac skip to the Ankh but somehow made it line up perfectly to get in the area first try. I have no idea what I did though 🤦‍♂️
