To me its cause he was never really a "superstar", maybe a couple years in his prime. Its like when the Heat lost in 2011 no one blamed Wade or Bosh. This last season he was ranked as the 38th best player. He is 37 years old now - thats why there is not much slander. Pat Bev's competitive nature makes him see things only one way. That may seem close-minded to some but I love his perspective. That's what you need on ESPN. A lot of these guys argue things solely based off their interpretation of analytics, so sometimes the arguments get stale. With Pat Bev this week he added a different perspective, and whether you agree or disagree with him, it was refreshing!
