@watasht0ff3604 ай бұрын
@@dragonage200 Now imagine your friend had the same amount of piloting skills as a dog and he still got to be a pilot just because of nepotism. Would you have still encouraged him then? Before we bring up good examples of positive nepotism, let’s please remember that we have not seen this kid play in the NBA. The only way this is defensible is if he can even become a decent role player. We all agree that this is nepotism, let’s all say nothing until we know what kind it is. Whether it was the Lakers or not, he was only getting drafted because LeBron would come with him. It’s not just nepotism. It’s also because of threats made by LeBron. His first threat was to leave the Lakers if somebody else drafted Bronny, his second threat was to have Bronny play overseas for a year if another team tried to draft him. The logic falls apart when you look at it objectively as well. LeBron is going to turn 40 this upcoming season. Giannis will be turning 30. One dude is on his last season as a productive player while the other one is a top player in the league and in his prime. People pretend thanasis is good now just to hate on lebron james wtf is happening. They said bronny was drafted to the laker is the same reason why bucks keep thanasis when he just a clapping machine, is that hard to understand???😂
@obi39244 ай бұрын
@@leduy7524I agree that Thanasis isn’t good now, but he was definitely a better prospect than Bronny. He was legitimately good in Europe and he was drafted to the NBA when Giannis was still a bench player. Even if his brother didn’t end up being a star, he would’ve achieved getting at least one nba contract. I don’t think you can say the same for Bronny

People bending over to Lebron to defend nepotism is insane. Just because its common doesn't mean its right. And you shouldn't be shouting at other people complaining about nepotism like you are proud of the existence of nepotism in the NBA.
@xxtopgunxx87644 ай бұрын
I’m not proud of it, but we’re not hypocrites. In that situation, most would have done the same thing… If you were successful, in an advantageous position, you wouldn’t use you earned privilege to set up your family members or friends, etc..? Well, I guess that makes you better than us lol…and an a**hole :)) I sure would have. It’s one of the perks of being successful.

The nba wishes it could go back to it's cavs/warriors bron vs steph ratings all time ratings they had. The celtics won and the Lakers coaching hire got more pub. Ya the nba always needs lebron james.

Bronny not even bad, things people don’t understand is, if you play the same lvl, you will get used to it and will get no better, but if you play a harder lvl you will adapt and get better, for Bronnys case, he is already pretty good so he has way more potential than most, so he will get better over time

Im sorry but Giannis and James are not the same player. They simply aren’t. This move is more reality TV than actual basketball. This is clearly not a championship move by the lakers, but that’s not the goal right now. The goal is online discussion, engagement, viewership on lakers games in the next season, and comments… like the one I‘m writing right now… shit
