Yeah, the drafts of '98-05 sure produced several Hall of Fame players. Some got MORE than their fair share of fan appreciation & accolades (TB12) while others didn't really get the recognition they deserved (Philip Rivers, Jerome Bettis, Frank Gore). It's a real testament to him when you look at all of the obstacles that Drew Brees overcame to become ONE of the best to play the game. We can all debate on who we think is the best but there's really NOT an individual best (greatest) of all time.

I would judge it as there is an A+ tier of QBs that very few have done enough to make, but in the ultimate team sport should not be constrained by things such as number of Super Bowls, but just overall level of talent and the impact made on the teams they played on. Not a Top 5 matter but just more of a "These select few are the best to ever play the game at the QB position" and that's the end of the story. By that metric, Brees is absolutely on that list, no question.

All the above are partially wrong....they make the voidable ones for huge money because nfl rules state that you cant renegotiate your contract within 12 months of signing one unless it is for more $....therefore teams make the contracts big so there's no chance on renegotiation ..he will be paid 10 million this year...all stop.....almost 3+ million base salary and 6+ million signing bonus..that's it..cuz his deal last year was for 16 million guaranteed and he will be a free agent a long with winston next offseason

Brady obviously has more rings than any of the other guys but imo he's definitely NOT the best QB of All Time. He's been the recipient of being the offensive leader (and receiving MOST of the glory) of some very good teams that won the Super Bowl. I'd rank Montana and Brees ahead of Brady.
