PATAGONIAN ROAD TRIP: NOBODY DRIVES ON THESE ROADS... HERE'S WHY!

Driving 2000 kilometers in less than 7 days.
The final destination? One of the most spectacular locations in the whole country of Argentina: the Perito Moreno Glacier!
Follow us as we embark on this long journey across one of the most beautiful countries in South America!
To bless our road trip, we paid homage to the Argentinian legend Diego Armando Maradona. We stopped by in the La Paternal neighborhood in Buenos Aires, where we visited the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium where Argentinos Juniors plays its home game. There, we discussed the role that Maradona played not only for his home country but also for the football club and the city where he played the most in Europe: Napoli.
He was not the only legend we paid homage to. Oddly enough, we also saw a mural of an American legend...Conan O'Brien. We also visited a train that the famous American author, Paul Theroux, rode in his book, The Patagonian Express.
After that, we began our journey in Villa La Angostura, a small town in the Argentina Lake Region - very close to Bariloche and the border with Chile. We drove and stopped in towns such as Esquel, Perito Moreno, Gobernador Costa and Gregores, and finally reached the famous El Calafate - where the Perito Moreno Glacier is.
On the road, we had a close encounter with some guanacos, the llama looking animal of the Argentinian Steppe. We also visited "Las Cuevas de las Manos", near the Perito Moreno town. Towards the end of the trip, we took a road by accident and ended up being lost in the middle of nowhere for more than 3 hours!
Nevertheless, this was a road trip for the books.
