This is gold, sounds so good. But you can't fool me, more than 90% of this beautiful music is the person playing here

Thank you! Bloom is so powerful and also fun to jam with!

Geeze, the composition on this one is just nuts. Probably listened a dozen times or so, just incredible to hear this one build up.

this is wonderful :) I'm curious of how does the scale type gets modulated on Chord ?
@QuBitElectronix Жыл бұрын
When Chord's Harm mode button is on, it will automatically change the chord quality to say within the chosen quantized scale (in this case major)!

Great demo! Can i ask what case this is?

This is a simple Eurorack frame designed to fit in a 19" rack. You can find them online for fairly cheap!

So, I just got my Bloom. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but the major weakness in Bloom is the controls on the left are channel local. But the controls on the right are global. So If you change the mutation, branches or path, no matter what channel you are on, you are changing both channels. This seems like a glaring obvious oversight. If those controls were encoders (not pots), and channel local, you would have a much more capable two channel sequencer. Or am I missing something? Even if the pot doesn't affect the other channel (which I assume it does immediately), the pot location will be different as soon as you switch to the other channel. And any CV modulation of those things will affect both channels. Not just the one selected while the modulation is applied.

well,this actually stopped me from purchasing a bloom,this behaviour it's just disappointing to me
@mntbighker3 жыл бұрын
@@redshift4707 So for the record that assumption was wrong. Changing the knobs on 1 doesn't affect 2. How they accomplished that is changing channels only changes knob settings if you touch the knob. It's still a hot mess. Just not the hot mess I thought it was. And BTW I'm actually finding Bloom is pretty great for percussion. That's about all I use it for now. Bloom, Plaits and a BIA.
@redshift47073 жыл бұрын
@@mntbighker ok so if i change the mutation,branches or path on sequence 1,this would work just on seq 1 right? the sequence 2 will not be affected by the changes,but if you switch,let's say,from seq 1 to seq2,what you'll get is the knob settings of the previous sequence transfered to the new one,in this case,seq 2 right? thank you for taking the time,i really appreciate this and i'm still intrigued by the bloom tbh
@mntbighker3 жыл бұрын
@@redshift4707 Switching to the other channel with different knob positions does NOT change anything until you touch a knob. Then the setting goes to the new knob position. So switching to the other channel the knob positions say nothing about the settings. It's freakin crazy if you ask me. But that's how it works. Oh, and "ratchets" on Bloom are actually note repeat. It doesn't even do ratchets. Really annoying.
@redshift47073 жыл бұрын
@@mntbighker that's all clear...it looks like a common knob or encoder behaviour found on a lot of digital synth from the past,i believe i can deal with that no prob.Such a shame for the rachets but luckily,it's something i barely use.So time for me to get my hands on a bloom as soon as possible! thank you again for taking the time mate
