Hi korg, how can I make my volca nubass to show on the screen the values of the different parameters (I.e attack or decay) mine only shows pitch values or tempo.I updated to the last firmware and still no luck.other question...is there anywhere where I can find patterns for my volca ,like the pattern sheets of the Roland tb303?I hope someone can answer those questions 😞

I have a question: Unlike in your video, when I turn the knobs on my nubass (e.g. CUTOFF), the display won't show the values. At first I thought I need an update, but even after installing v.1.06 the display won't react to most of the knobs.

I hope you figured it out by now, but if someone else sees this and is wondering: Save the patterns in order, hold Memory, and press the first and last patterns in the chain at the same time.

Please add separate lfo rate and int knobs because if I want to tweak the rate for example and already used attack, it's hard to tweak the rate again because it's in a different position. Makes no sense when the volca bass had it's own separate lfo rate/int knobs.

Korg NUBASS : In update 1.06 for Nubass here isn’t possibility to insert the accent using the external midi keyboard with note velocity and DAW, please Korg fix soon.Thanks.

@@GT6SuzukaTimeTrials I think VB and NB are very different, VB is three OSC that can be individually tuned, has an EG, NB is single OSC with non-tunable sub, the EG is like tb303 and tied to just the filter. These alone create quite a distance in terms of sound. Edit, I forgot to add TD3 doesn't have an LFO

@@shabbee Yup, Korg kinda misleaded a lot of people by making it look like the legendary silverbox, but it's nothing like 303, or this. One can create stuff like unison leads on that little thing. But again: it isn't an acid box, if one asked me. It's way more. Actually I think it should've also been named differently, Volca Lead, or something. :)

​@@shabbee I feel the filters are the most significant timbral difference in practice. VB is very raspy and biting; NB is liquidy and mews. It's due to their heritage; VB goes for the filter design of 70s korg synths, whereas NB uses its ladder to go for a 303 sound.

@@oskie66skye have you considered the fact of it being an market experiment with new technology? I dislike the entire Volca series for cutting basic features way too short, but I do hope decent synths are born from enough people buying the sketches and giving constructive feedback.

@@oskie66skye exactly. No need to support Behringer when there are plenty other options to choose from. And no need to get the cheapest 303 knockoff to join a scene not even being something most hype wave riders are good at either.

The sustain doesn't sustain. I also dislike the Nubass' inability to have slides on all 16 steps. If you do your notes drifts off into an abyss of silence.

TD-3 is a better 303, but this thing has a very nice sound of its own.
