This guy is a great teacher, he actually does it slow for beginners compared to other fuckers that just start playing like they doing a show expect you to follow their fingers then the camera be out of range. I'll be subscribing to this teacher, I only hope he shows both hands on future teachings.

Wow, great lessons. I found this easier to follow because my fingers are so short to make proper chords and knowing I can play with few fingers makes it so much nicer. You actually made the songs sound like they should. Awesome that you included the James Bond Theme. I love it. I was watching another tutorial before this of someone else and I kept thinking that nothing he played sounded remotely like the songs, but then I came across yours and was amazed. Great job!

Best advice I can offer people starting to play is make sure you focus on hitting the strings with the upstroke. It is tough at first and feels strange, you can't hit the right strings all the time and it feels easier just to double-time your hand back over the string to hit it downwards again. But you end up in a bad habit of doing this. I was 100% self taught, which was part of the problem I guess, but it took me a very long time to get out of this and it hampered my playing for years.

Great stuff! It never amazes me how we approach our music or how to achieve the same tune but from completely different note arrangement. I play Day tripper way different because, but your one finger approach is great for igniting that curiosity. When a beginner pulls off some one finger chorus lines they feel great and it extends into wanting to know how to play it using chords. Great learning tool Pat nice one mate.

Play "Mary had a little lamb" /"Twinkle, twinkle little star" until you build up calluses before attempting these advanced songs that shred your finger tips.

All about the "Bass/Rhythm". Excellent introduction. Good choice of "Modern/popular". "Helps, all".

Can you play some Metallica using one finger? If you can, you should make a video of only Metallica songs. That would be great. Earned a sub!

As an intermediate/advanced guitar player it’s nice to see a channel that is geared towards beginners.. you have to start somewhere.. when I try to teach beginners it’s hard to locate where that good starting place is.. because playing guitar is supposed to be feel fun and pleasing... learning EADGBE is boring

Its hard for me to learn these, because every time you say something & strum the guitar I have to pick up my panties off the floor.
