Being able to afford it is only half the problem. I`ve been trying to get one for a year from my PP AD. Ulesss you want to get it off the gray market for 3X it`s cost, forget it.

I don't get it why Patek doesn't want to use a matching date wheel. That's the only thing keeping it from being the perfect watch, in my opinion.

Absolutely not worth that kind of money. There exists finer examples of perpetual calendar watches from Patek , as well as from others, namely Lange. Other Patek perpetual references can be had at a fraction of the cost of this piece. The fact that this piece is a Nautilus perpetual doesn’t make it worth over 5 times the cost of other versions makes little sense in my opinion .
