D4 is Blizzards game to make, or kill. Really is up to them, Jonathan said it best in this interview, they have to look at the bar that other games are setting and rise to meet it. This is something that D4 seems to be consistently failing to do. Also, interesting about Johnathans favorite games... Myself, I was more into C&C Gold and the first Red Alert. I did play Half Life for quite a bit, and Quake 3 a while later. That said I really didnt have a great PC in the early 90's, we got our first PC in 1993, and it was a 486 DX2, so wasnt really up there for most games. It want until the early-mid 2000's after I left home that I saved up to build my first PC and could play other games. But I still liked C&C and Starcraft more than others, even more than Diablo. My 1st person shooter of choice back then was the original Battlefield 1942, or Unreal Tournament.

His philosophy on buffing underpowered stuff than just nerfing everything fun needs to be implemented in every live service game. I would rather have everyone use broken builds and is having fun than feeling bored with bland builds

What is the biggest standout in my eyes is the overall combat... all that combined with incredible animation and particle system, truly next gen compared to everything else in the genre.
