I think one other thing people should be looking out for when deciding whether to sell or break something down is if it has the "Quality" attribute on it. If it has that break it down so you can get the mats for it and be able to put it on gear you'll use.

man, i cant beleive I missed it at first. Was literally complaining, how some of the trials I coudl easily do and others I couldnt. Then chat is like "you know you can pick right". LUL

Gold is so scarce that im selling everything unless it has quality/sockets. In which case, salvage. The most important thing i can say, at least for people coming from loot games, is that the gear you find is unlikely to be the gear you'll be using. You're looking for good bases(normals or magics with an attribute you want) on top of which you want to enhance/augment better attributes. Dont wait for a great drop, make one yourself. Also, have a few pieces with item find(rarity increase) which you can use to run in easier zones and hope for better items to salvage/disenchant/upgrade. Oh, movement speed! Just a single piece with 10-15% movement speed makes a huge difference in terms of how quickly you move around the map.

nice nice. To be honest, they have already made some really good changes to difficulty and currency. Address a lot of complaints already. So shoudl be a in a great state by the time 1.0 comes around

In the early game, I'd say keep any item that grants levels to a skill gem type you use. It will give you a helpful buff and even if the item is magic, it'll help a lot.

I've got a quarterstaff that gives 3 levels to melee skills, and one that just gives a bunch of damage. They're roughly the same level and about 20 or 30 top end damage difference. I get more from the one that just gives raw damage. I'll have to check again if I still have them to give a better breakdown of the damage differences.

It's got the same structure as Diablo: classes with skills, tiers of loot, passive trees and all that. But it's much more in depth and customized than Diablo

It definitely looks like dialogue, but plays quite different. I lost interest in diablo pretty quick, where as the bosses and difficulty of this is keeping me around. It will be free to play when it fully releases. Early access is now for 30 dollars (but you get that back in microtransactions).
