Build/Website/Filter/PoB = www.pohx.net/ Edit: I have changed the leveling PoB slightly. The end result is still the same I'm no longer going into Champion of the Cause at the bottom and instead going top towards Breath of Flames, this gets around the same damage as adding in skitterbots but without the need to respec.

Thanks to D4, about a week ago I decided to finally try PoE. I came across your RF Juggernaut and absolutely loved it. Yesterday I finished the campagne, the ascendency and did a few maps. I couldn't have done it without your guide. I will definitely follow this one in 3.22. Thanks for sharing your knowledge in such a helpfull way

@@DustybaerOne piece of advice I give to new players who are overwhelmed by all the content is that aside from your ascendancies, none of it is absolutely required. Just play, try things out and learn which side content you enjoy. Then focus on those things in your Atlas passives. No one character excels at everything.

You may not read this comment, but I just wanna say a few words. This may seem like a long video to you, but to many new players like me, who played a few hours before, this is a very very very useful guide. Maybe because of this, I'll enjoy my next 3-4-5 hundred hours. Thank you so much for doing this. I would request that you do this before every major change, so we don't get stuck. Maybe these videos don't have much reach, but get new people up and running into PoE. Thank you.

This guide really helps me a lot to enjoy playing POE again. I already play this before but I was not able to progress in Act faster, and prepare my character effectively for maps. But using this guide and build really zoom me and this time really enjoy it. Also the website is really helpful, there's still more things need to learn but so far the details on the POB, in this video, on the website really really helps a lot. Thank you.

Where so many other videos and guides fail at on-boarding new players you have succeeded phenomenally. I played about 10 hours of a blind game as a Templar and finished the Axiom Prison section. Decided I was really enjoying the game so I started digging into builds. Almost all of it was incoherent. I think where you really knocked it out of the park was explaining the rationale behind the equipment, and spell choices, naturally flowing with the loot you were finding, while still aiming for a specific outcome. Which I think most closely resembles the play style intended by the developers. I'll stop by the stream sometime. Great job!

Applesauce, these 5 hours weren't a loss. What I am most impressed by isn't the build so much as your time and effort in walking us through the leveling process. I am so casual and always struggle to level, this made the POB so much easier to understand, the game so much more accessible, and my death counter so much closer to zero than 500. Thank you!

1. Applesauce 2. I had trouble getting into PoE but this build feels like a nice way for me to get accustomed to the plethora of content and mechanics in the game. I just love going through the map and seeing everything melt around me, and it allows me to focus more on other aspects of the game, like how to survive. My first character was a Ranger that I kept dying on, so I couldn't level anymore.

This guide is a great help for a newer player like me. You shrunk the enormity of the game down to a manageable bite. Thanks for the guide. Just finished the Brine King, so the sockets and gear are starting to diverge a bit based on luck and the rerolling mats I have. Regardless, I'm confident in my new understanding to keep the goal for each act in mind when I'm progressing. Thanks, again.

applejuice - I sincerely never expected such a smuth experience from RF, i already played like 40+- characters before, i seen people talking about this but never played it, i really regret it, I wasn't expecting this kinda of damage from a build that is so tanky, and decently fast. Oh, this gets me so excited for the new league! Thanks so much for these fantastic guides. I've been playing PoE on and off since launch, but I still get a lot out of them. The one time I was not very happy with playing RF was Sanctum league, but I hope with the changes they did to the mechanics, RF will finally be kicking Sanctums as well as any ranged build! And no muling league start? Double bonus. In my region the league starts late in the evening and I rarely get farther than finishing act 1 the first day, which is a huge disadvantage in trade league. Maybe not this time.

awesome guide mate, best detailed guide i've seen to date...my only issue was Dex while leveling firetrap lol so it took me a bit longer to start leveling it, besides that everything was smooth as butter, by act 4 i had 600lps so RF was rly good i even dropped Vitality early on and kept a herald instead... oh and i got very lucky i dropped a GoldRIm act1 helped a lot with the res of the build

Applesauce. Thanks for you guides they are thorough informative and honestly I never have gotten through the campaign so easily I usually get stuck around tier 5 maps in other builds but I have never felt this strong on any build so far thanks so much!

applesauce! first time playing RF had an amazing time was the first time trying it. It helped so much to play and watch all the decisions that you make and have you explained why you actually make those decisions helped out a ton for a new player like myself. highly recommend it to other new players. It was the easiest leveling experience i have ever had with the game.

Apple Sauce. Thanks for the leveling guide, was a lot of fun to play along and made the campaign a breeze. My favourite thing about RF for me is my internet is not the greatest at the moment so i get the occasional lag spike here and there and RF makes it so i don't die as much. Also its fun as hell to play so far.

Applesauce! Just like the RF Jugg, I really appreciate this feeling of "allmightyness". And I'm glad you finally revealed who is the best between Jugg and Inquisitor : "yes" is definitly the right answer. Thank you for your great work!

Applesause! Thanks for this great video, I'm enjoying RF quite a lot and is far more fun than I thought it would be. Maybe I'll actually get to stomping Maven and Sirus 😉

Herald of Thunder if you're using Magma Orb and Herald of Ash if you're using Holy Flame Totem. Being that naturally you'll be going for global physical damage belt + physical damage % on your sceptre with that build so naturally Herald of Ash would scale more damage than Herald of Thunder and the reverse is the case for Magma. Check your calculations when deciding of course because it really does depend on your gearing, given that physical damage has sucked in PoE for *YEARS*, Magma Orb is a better option usually, but a lot of people dislike using it because it can miss targets in melee range while Totem build is a minions build so you can basically be hands off for the first 30 levels, but it does less overall damage so you'll take 2 hours to level from 1 to 30 instead of an hour and a half. Also normally in Act 9 when you reach the Blood Aqueducts you pause and spend an hour grinding cards to get the 6 link Tabula Rasa as you overlevel to 70, However, RF Inquisitor is one of those builds where you can comfortably get away with not having a 6 link chestpiece right up until maps, in fact the Tabby is detrimental because by the time you're half way into act 9 you should have maxed out your resistances with a comfortable amount of chaos resistance (between 10% to 30%), what you'll be hurting for is armour, armour is the one thing you'll be constantly chasing at this point and the tabula would mean losing between 50 to 100 base health which is huge when scaled with the passives on top of likely losing some of your base resistances and between 100 to 200 armour as well as spell shield, you need spell shield because your damage scales off of it as RF scales from both health and spell shield so having a tabula actually dramatically impacts your RF damage negatively, you could lose between 1K and 3K damage purely by dropping a 4 link 5 socket chest or a 5 link 6 socket rare chest which has health, resistances, armour, spellshield, etc; for a 6 link tabby, not worth it. This only applies to the RF Inquisitor specifically, it is a non-issue for RF Juggernaut who has the opposite problem to the Inquisitor, where they are socket dependent instead of stat dependent, they do need an early 6 link.

Played RF jug last time, had a lot of fun. I've watched this video a few times now. It always cracks me up when Pohx says "that's too good, we can't use that, that's cheating" :D

02:43:39 Isn't this music from the predator movies? Also, I really want to thank you, bro! I liked playing occultist or elementalist, but when I tried this one (I mean previous one in 3.21) I figured it out how much this one better than Cold DOT. You don't need to move, and you have lots of regen. Therefore, you can alt tab, be drunk etc.

As an end result, not really. The defensive layers are pretty different and the order of investment is inversed, but for most players it'll end up being very similar.
