We already have clerics and sorceres as accessible divine casters with mass appeal. It makes me very sad that they removed everything that made the Oracle my favourite class in the game in order to garner more mass appeal.

On the flames oracle, if im cursebound to take fire damage while im sustaining Incendiary aura, does that mean I take the extra persistant fire damage from my own focus spell?

Battle oracle got nuked by Player Core 2, Weapon Trance is a joke. Spend 1 action to cast weapon trance , 1 action to strike and if you hit you become proficient in martial weapons and can keep the proficiency sustained as a free action, if you miss you wasted a 1 action cast, a 1 action strike, and if you want to sustain you need to waste another action. Heavy penalty for 1 miss. Its outclassed by just getting the general feat weapon proficiency. Battle oracles also lost trained in medium and heavy armor. I understand if you need to lower some things because you added another spell slot but drop it by 1 so instead of trained in medium and heavy armor, just make it trained in medium armor so if you want to go into heavy armor you need to use a general feat with Armor Proficiency. Battle also lost fast healing which is what helped keep it on the frontline, it gave you a reason to want to increase your curse level so you could get fast healing, now all the curses for every mystery provided just penalties and no bonuses. Overall they really butchered Oracle i was hoping since they did such a great job with cleric we would so some similar things to oracle but unfortunately it got stripped of almost everything.

the labeling of each mystery slide in this video is horrible. why didnt you just put in in one consistent place rather than making jump corner to corner? and why did you make it so small? just put it in the top center. also the script is confusing. why not mentioned the mystery first and then mention the ability? you have to repeat yourself, but its more helpful organizationally. introduce the subclass first and then the abilities. it doesnt make sense to introduce the abilities first. its like reading a text book where they dont properly introduce the topic. but at least in the textbook i can see what the chapter is about because they labeled it properly. its unfortunate that i can only give this video a like or dislike, but these issues are so annoying that i have to give this video a dislike.
