I love mine, I really would like to try their new French press and Swedish cook set.
@charlesartificer2158 Жыл бұрын
Yeah The French Press looks sweet man, I'm only holding off because I have so much cook gear it's crazy. Maybe I need to have a garage sale and get rid of some of it LOL. Thanks for the comment.

@@charlesartificer2158 man I hear you! Theres something about camping stoves and cooking gear I love so much I have way too many. I have the grate but still havent tried to bake in mine yet. I believe dave Canterbury uses a small thermometer and sticks it in the pour spout.
@charlesartificer2158 Жыл бұрын
@@rk80s yeah it's definitely an obsession, currently I think I have about 40 different camp stoves of multiple kinds everything from Alchohol, White gas to canister you name it I've got at least five or six of each kind. Add to that a lifetime of different outdoor cook gear everything from old scout stuff to what you see in my videos. So ya I have alot! That makes sense to put a thermometer in the spout. Unfortunately all the cooking grates I have are bigger and they won't fit in the 64 Oz pot. The small cooking grate that Dave has on his website is like a four and a quarter inch or something like that. And that makes sense cuz my small grate is a 6x6 in and it's way too big.

@@charlesartificer2158 I use my bushpot to make "poor mans thanksgiving" 1 box of stove top stuffing, 1 can of corn, 2 cans of chicken, 1 packet of instant potatoes, and 2 packets of instant gravy. A camping favorite for my family!

@@rk80s that sounds good! Do you have a formal recipe for this, or a link? sound's like a good one to try.

We will miss not having a "modding" video on this pot since it is near perfect for your needs. On the plus side, those who find it challenging to turn on a light switch will appreciate a pot that is good out of the box and recommended by a person of experience. Did I word that "PC" enough? Have a great day man.
@charlesartificer2158 Жыл бұрын
And near perfect pot is a beautiful thing Jack! And yes you worded did that very PC, in fact I hear CNN is hiring lol! Thanks for the view and comment brother, hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Nice coffee mug Chuck!😆😆..seriously tho my crutches are 316 stainless pipe. That's TOUGH stainless. 300 series makes great knife guards etc, depending on the source. Canterbury knows what we need and fits the bill without excess foo foo.
@charlesartificer2158 Жыл бұрын
Agreed! Plus 300 series stainless don't break the bank and will outlast the user. I did a large purchase order from him everything is great. will be seeing some of those goods on the channel soon.

I know you gonna think my brain is broke but seriously, they need to flip that bail like you were taking about so you could drink out of it if ya HAVE to. But this thing is great...you know as well as I do, you can be out there and you got what you got. At least you can pack it full of (insert here)

@@charlesartificer2158 Yeah, ...I got the 32 oz Stainless steel water bottle , 24 oz Cup and lid, last year (a present) , for my daily hike bag and Bug Out Bag kit. His products are well designed. The Steel water bottle is a softer stainless steel than the Nalgene bottle or klean kanteen, but is lighter also. I looked on his site and asked around about where his products are made ? USA or CHINA made ? No one seems to know ? Do you know ?
@charlesartificer2158 Жыл бұрын
@@kan-zee he has most of the stuff on his site not all is made in China. There's certain things on there that are made in America like The Woodsman wedgie. But I know all the cookware is made in China under his design and brand.
