Yeah they were not great in the beta so I don't have high hopes now.

@@SlanderedGaming I want to do the ascended ending on a second play through so was thinking possibly lich. Wonder what would narrative suit best though, maybe Aeon?

@@20storiesunder My understanding is True Aeon's cannot ascend. I assume something happens in the story that prevents it. I think all the Mythic Paths fit doing this for different reasons except maybe Gold Dragon.

for w/e reason you can't retrain the undead companions. it's a huge bummer

You can, but only the new levels they gain with XP, not the levels they start with. Staunton's quite decent out of the box due to his baseline level scaling 10/day supernatural abilities that is unlinked to any class.

@@six-p-668 thing is i dont know what fortification does and alot of his kit and i want him to focused on another weapon. i want to sword and board him or use a spear and he has wasted feats in that logic because i can't get rid of those useless feats

Yeah I am worried I'll be replacing a stellar team with a bunch of undead companions who suck in comparison.

@@SlanderedGaming well i'll tell you who are mainstays on the undead team. the cavalier and the dual wielding scimatar guy. gl finding out who those are. the rest are benched for that very reason
