India should directly communicate to International Community and WTO that subsidies and incentives offered for Food and Agricultural items are internal issues and outside countries are not allowed to interfere in India's internal policies and structure. Apart, regarding production of within India and export of agricultural items, Netherlands type Agricultural Technology Research, Education and Systems should be adopted, in order to maximise productivity of agricultural production (each State should adopt such systems).

A moratorium extended for another 2 years is a great loss for India. India needs a competent tread minister. "I am happy", what the minister said was a defensive stance for a small achievement and not something to celebrate and be happy about. In tread one has to be aggressive which is what is lacking I see. Need a competent minister like EAM. No compromise.

Whatever India said about nations having the choice of leaving WTO if they want to is correct. WTO stands for the free trade policy making which mathematically skews favour towards the developed countries with stronger economies. That stifles and slows growth for the developing and under-developed nations. More help is required for countries with poorer populations. WTO really should be an OECD club and countries whose interests are not considered should leave and form bilateral policies or separate trade unions or groups, like the African Union. All countries, even OECD ones, will mainly try to look for their own interests; bonhomie among human populace across geographies really doesn't exist in modern times. It is not surprising that almost nothing concrete comes out at WTO any year. UN is another such failed project.

It wouldn't be a problem if MSP was allowed at 10% of current production. Its allowed at 1980 production level when developed countries had maxed out their production and developing countries had very small subsistence level production. So by that logic their production has not increased in these decades but for developing countries it has changed a lot. They dont accept this change and keep pushing countries to follow the old standards of calculation. They want developing countries to beg them for food at high prices which they want to decide.
