I can relate to that first story so much!! Now I try to be social but sometimes it is too much for me due to anxiety and depression for sharing a screenie is all I can manage. I was in this tiktok server for xiv creators and I had a mod tell me in dms to do more than just post a screenshot and dip. Needless to say I left that server fast because I hate it feeling forced especially if I am at a very low point mentally, more so when I felt like I didn't fit in as there is an obvious clique and I was more of a twitter creator over tiktok. I just wish people let us be and post what we can when we can without being expected to interact with people if we aren't comfortable with it.

The first story makes me glad the discord I'm in doesn't have a limit, we just say "sorry for spam" and go post in the goose specific channel. Hearing that story again still makes me sad :(

My FC doesn't have a limit either, it's weird to do unless you have a huge fc I guess? XD People in my FC just mute the channels the get spammed; gallery, meme channel, and screenshots specifically. Our FC leader has all 3 muted lol

@@DICEBOY22 It's probably real.. I've had insane interactions. A girl joined our fc, claimed to be mute, and constantly flirted with me and said sexual things. It crossed the line when she said to my brother in our fc discord "I want to fist your sister". I constantly told her to stop and had her blocked in game and on discord. My friend told me when she said that. She was banned from our discord. Another time, a guy who had been in the FC much longer than me had taught me a little about Eureka. About a year later, I went back in with him. I died and forgot about self reviving making you lose a level. He cussed me out for being so stupid for about 30 minutes until my brother joined and kicked him from vc. The overall community is usually very kind, but there are bad eggs out there. I have other stories, but it's mostly just creeps and long term friendships being ruined in my FC.

The last one reminds me of my brother's old FC. I wasn't playing during thus time, but the leader had a serious power trip. You HAD to be playing on Playstation in order to join. If you ever switched to PC, you were kicked immediately. You also had to pay 10,000 gil to stay in the FC. There was a ton of drama that the FC leader also ignored, and refused to take action. I dunno the details, but it lead to my brother leaving and a couple friends followed so he made his own FC with them. After a bit, a couple others left the FC and joined my brother. Not long after that, the original FC died. The leader took everyone's gil, I think it was 45mil, and every item in the house. She would log in just to keep her personal house and the FC house. Kinda petty lol but at some point I had an alt get into the old FC, only one person was active and was now the leader due to the original not being active. I waited until the same happened to me. (If you don't know, when the FC leader is inactive for too long, it goes to the next most active person rather than rank). When it did, I took the 100k gil out of the chest, and kicked the original leader. The 100k gil was added by someone who was in our FC discord, but in another FC, still active. So I was able to give it back to him. I demolished the house and my brother immediately transferred our old FC house there. That was how we got our first medium. Before abandoning my alt, I made the girl who was occasionally active leader again, left, and deleted the alt. I should add that I did ask her if she used the house and if it was okay to do this. I also offered her to join our FC that's more active, and had buffs up, but she said she was alright and we could have the house. She only got on to play with her daughter on rare occasions.

In the end of the day it’s up to every person if they want to submit a story or not! Sometimes the drama is too traumatizing to want to bring it up again whereas some find closure and finding it therapeutic to write it out and get it off their chest. Some also use it as a way to just link the video so they don’t have to retype the story to their friends if they ask “what happened”

I'm not Gary, but I (partially) agree with Gary. I despise it when players flood screenshot channels 50x a day in an effort to farm compliments.

There's a work around for that, though. Gary (or whoever the admin of the server was) could have just placed a timer on posting for that specific channel. I believe the cap is 6H of being unable to post after commenting, but at least it would have helped in alleviating the issue to a certain degree!
