There's no funding or loans available for international students, however all of the courses are available on payment plans, so you'll pay for your tuition every month, term or semester. You'll also be able to work whilst you're in Australia on a student visa.

Hey guys, thank you for all your efforts in these videos. Please could you do one explaining maybe how you get work as a carpenter / tradie. Do these professionals have constant work employment within a construction company? Or is it a case of picking up contracts all the time? I only ask this as I would like to study something that would offer me consistent employment. Not something that would cause me to worry about when the next would be if you know what I mean. Thank you for taking the time to read this if you guys do 👍 On another note could you maybe do videos with people in the industry doing these roles?

Hi, so if you are working for a builder or company. It is fairly consistent work every week. If you go off by yourself as a sub contractor it is a lot more up and down.

Yes, you will be able to work 24 hours per week. The class at TAFE is generally 2.5 days per week. And this includes vocational placement

Is that meaning international students can study carpentry skills in Tafe Qld, but they can't be an apprentice and can't apply carpentry license after the finish the study?

You can study Carpentry (but can't do the standard apprenticeship). However when you finish the Cert III course you are a fully qualified carpentry and can work in the industry when you finish (just like someone who did the apprenticeship).

Hi, if you are offshore you may be accepted to TAFE. But we would need to demonstrate that you meet the genuine temporary entrant requirement
