Patoli is an authentic Konkani recipe made with Turmeric leaves called as Haldi Panna Patholi. Usually made during Nag Panchami & Ganesh Chaturthi as the turmeric leaves are available in abundance during this time. It is a very healthy recipe as no oil or sugar is used.

Should use layye pitto. For both batter and choorna. In karkala we use layye pitto

@@Swathi-cm8kn Will try next time. Layye Pitto is not available everywhere, hence made it without layye pitto. You should try it too, tastes good without layye pitto & are soft too.

Superb. I love making patoli. I somehow cannot get the rice batter right. It's either too thick or runny. I'll try one more time with your method.
