Yeah that's true I usually don't mind when music is in a foreign language if it's good
@747jono26 күн бұрын
Correct i never have a problem with native language bands. Tbh I think for example Feuerschwanz went down a notch when they on last album started singing in English. Another example for me is Sabaton Calorous Rex Swedish version is far superior to English language one. Take care Happy 2025

They changed their name recently because they were in a lawsuit with the original creator of Batushka, and were forced to as they lost. The lead singer of this band (Patriarkh) essentially kicked out the mastermind behind the original Batushka and copyrighted the name behind his back. When you hear the term "Faketushka" in metal circles, it is referring to this band. The real (original) Batushka is no longer in exile, has there name back and is releasing new music. There is a lot of confusion between these two bands because of the name changes and lawsuits. For the last five years there were essentially two Batushkas.

I'm on a binge listen to your podcast while on the nightshift. I hoped this was a selection of bands from poland 😅 if you'll ever do it, remember dragon's "seven bowls of wrath", it's a very confusing thrash metal 🤘 I put it in my own podcast recently from my vynils.

Yes thanks for watching my videos. I will probably do a deep dive into the country of Poland someday. There's something about Eastern European metal bands which interests me.

The voice in the intro belongs to Maciej Malenczuk, a Polish singer who also recited the Behemoth Licifer song. Intro ".They put a crown of thorns on me, and wanted to scourge me, and they were going to drive nails into my hands and feet, and pierce my side with a scythe, and bury me in the ground, to see whether I was holy or unholy., God almighty, the end of the world" At the end of the CD there is a melodeclamation ".For your faith and your unbelief, for your ignorance and your foolishness, Herods and the soldiers, Pilates and their wives, the blind and the drunkards, Pharisees and Judases, out to hell!l" 😄🤘 Greetings from Poland
