If you're not a medical professional, teacher, finance major, or STEM Major don't go to college because it's a waste of time and money. Nobody going to tell you that. If the amount you owe will be more than your yearly salary then its called a BAD INVESTMENT. That's marrying a homeless man that abused you. I have student loan debt but I am an engineering major so once I start my career I will be debt free in 2 years...3 years max.

Sophisticated Swanson that is such an ignorant statement... I got a liberal arts degree from an Ivy League, become a management Consultant where I made a six figure salary and now I have my own company. I studied Anthropology... I will faster get hired into a management position than an engineer who can’t communicate. Very few CEOs are actually engineers 🙄

Money is a psychological issue. Starts in the mind and trickles down to behaviour. The root cause of money mismanagement is your mindset or belief about money. Period.

No one bats an eye when the girl says she has 160K student debt with NO job prospect but freak out when the next girl says she uses her credit card sometimes when she runs out of money.

To Bridgette and others in the comments, if you consolidate your student loans, it's best to go through the Dept of Ed because it has protections that outside sources don't offer. After consolidating, you may enroll in a payment plan which could help reduce your monthly payments to something more affordable. Of course, the lower your monthly payments, the more your interest will build on top of itself, increasing your overall student loan debt. But the higher your monthly payments, the quicker your student loan balance will be paid off. Another thing you may want to consider is if your career/occupation qualifies for any additional loan forgiveness opportunities. There's a few options for you. But I completely understand where you are coming from, this student loan debt is no joke! I'm still working through it myself. You want to be VERY CAREFUL w/ those student loans. They can impact your ability to get a job with the state or government, your ability to buy a home... She can contact FedLoans to consolidate and then apply for their repayment programs. There used to be an Income based repayment plan . She is gonna have to do some research.

I’m not sure if the information Patrice gave Bridgette initially was not valuable. Consolidating the loans still make them long term. How does she get rid of them.

I WANT TO START AN E-COMMERCE BUSINESS BUT I HAVE NO CAPITAL TO BUY A WEBSITE OR PAY ADVERTISEMENT. WHAT DO I DO?
@kendraw85295 жыл бұрын
I'm still learning things myself, but some people do drop shipping. It requires a lot of commitment and dedication to research your vendors and research everything that goes along with this type of business. In terms of advertising, you can use free apps to get things started. Such as canvas, you can create your own advertisements for free. They have stock ideas where you can plug in your own photos, text, and other graphics. Many designs are free but some do cost. And you can also create a n Instagram and Facebook business account to advertise.
