Still one of the greatest shooting big men in the game! Patrick Ewing!

@@goldenstatewarriors4011 dude Ewing came into the NBA in 1985, way too late. Never had that 2nd guy, just Starks and that's sad.

Ewing leading Rose to his own bench. NO fear! Love pat! Big fella is the rare big that could play physically ....down low.... big time defense...but also make free throws respectively and wet mid to deep jump shots. He was a complete player

The skill of Patrick was what stood out for me. Yeah he was a monster rebounder and could block shots , and play a brand of physical basketball one would expect from a big man his size, but the mid range jumpers and deep jumpers,, and the back to the basket turn around fade aways, and the consistent FT shooting, was what stood out to me. The guy would be back to the basket on the baseline and turn around and fade to his left and drain shots at a inanely hard angle like it was nothing

Everybody talks about the knicks finals 1999, latrell houston larry, but if not for ewing guys you didnt go to that finals vs spurs, and probably if ewing did play that finals he won tha championship did deserves
@devangpatel52274 жыл бұрын
I still think if the knicks were fully healthy we had the talent of beating that spurs team. Camby, ewing, and lj were all injured by the end of that series
@devangpatel52274 жыл бұрын
also can't forget we had young kurt thomas back then too. the only reason they dominated us in the low post by that margin was due to them injuries. i would argue with a healthy front court and with sprewell and houston on fire in the backcourt we coulda made it a 7 game series and then who knows
