David, I'm 65 years old and I'm from Holland, and I think you are entirely right. Fourty years ago I started with the Seth readings, Course of Miracles and lots of other books. I've done Trancedental Meditation and Vipassana Meditation. But nothing brought me the tranquility that nose breathing and mouth taping at night is doing for me. I'm so glad that I found Patrick Mckeown, and hope for lots of other people to find him to.

Based on my inner journey and outer research, I’d humbly say that approximately 98% of the spiritual teachings out there are just entertainment for masses. An awakened master who truly understands what the ins and outs of the human body will be hard to find because he’s purposely staying away from general population. Anyways, even harder will be to convince him to take you as a disciple if found. That said, all needs to be done is to learn how to read between the lines thru those teachings.

Ever since paying attention to my breathing, I felt an extreme improvement in my life. I don't feel out of breath when I'm talking, I don't feel as stressed out or get angry as often, I feel more focused when I'm doing a task or even playing video games/sports.

Ever since I started following Patrick and the Oxgen Advatage program (and all the people around breathing) I started to feel that there is something more. As a martial arts teacher and Rolfer therapist I understand how important it is in our lives to be able to focus. Thanks so much for your work Patrick. I'm looking forward to my Oxygen Advantage course in the Czech Republic in January and what else I will learn and where I will go in my life. I really enjoyed this video.

I am new to this and have been keeping my mouth shut sleeping for three months now. I have COPD Chronic Bronchitis. I have nearly conquered breathlessness. I sleep better and have more energy. Now I am beginning a daytime routine of practice and looking forward to better health overall. I may have an incurable disease but I clearly can feel better.

Thank you so much Patrick, you have truly saved my life! Before i did not understand the importance of proper breathing, and made it consicous, my breathing pattern were totally off. So much so, that i felt constant air hunger, and my resting BPM was 100-120, all the time. After one week of consicous nasal breathing and few rounds of wim hoff breathing tehnique, my resting BPM is 60!!!! And i have suffered high and abnormal bpm for over a decade! Man, this is a miracle, truly! I will never again breathe trough my mouth!

I tried just mouth taping for months, but didn't get much improvement in sleep until I started ALSO using the breathe right strips in addition to your mouth tape products. I don't see you talk much about the breathe right strips in your more recent videos you do though. Is it a practice you still partake in?

Wim Hof says the oposit, AKA in short " Breath motherfkr"..... seems i'm doing 50% u & 50% him when excersising anyway...... u need a video physically showing an athelete doing all kinds of excersises with your less is more method aka, extreme anorobic, extreme Aerobic...... extreme sprinting/power lifting & extreme fast marathon times

re myotape: what if one has uneven nasal passages and require septoplasty (breathing through nose is already limited due to this causing mouth breathing at night) will then using this taping pose any dangers like suffocating at night?
@JulieSilverFoodFairy
@JulieSilverFoodFairy Жыл бұрын
You are able to breathe through the mouth with the myotape so you can’t suffocate. So the nose unblocking exercises if your nose feels stuffy and you can use nasal strips etc. 👌😇🙌🌈

Does mouth/nose breathing have anything to do with being able to retain information? I found at school I could learn something and understand it but go away and come back another day I couldn't remember how to do it. Is this linked with how we breath?
@OxygenAdvantage

Hi. Slow , nasal breathing can help one focus on what's in front of them. It's difficult to be in the zone if breathing is oral and audible. Best, Darren

Im very confused because if you do the wim hof method your blowing off carbon dioxide but you also get more oxygen and it's similar to the mistake he is explaining but he is saying that oxygen becomes also lesser not only the carbon dioxide...

Patrick, sir how does this relate to what happens when we sing? Recent bout with Covid, fresh off hot o2, one day on bottle and hose...sent home with plastic breathing exercise thingys, which tired me with little to no return in o2 saturation, which I was able to monitor with a finger thingy like the one used at hospital...and I was always checking against it, quite by accident about three days home...I saw a youtube music vid of an old Waylon tune, which made me think of my wild youth, and I tried to sing along, and my numbers started going the right way, heart rate slowing and o2 increasing, and I continued to sing for about 45 minutes after finding some good hyms and gospel mix and all the while getting almost perfect numbers...and feeling tired but mostly refreshed and so there it is sorry for the rambling, having a god bit of pain in my feet cause I overdid and you know, neuropathy is a bitch...

Probably great but I'm still sceptical that it will help me get rid of my brain fog and anxiety significantly. There are so many factor contributing to this. You can't get rid of your problems simply by managing your oxygen levels slightly better. But I will give it a try.. I hope it's not just nonsense because I've been suffering from anxiety and brain fog/depersonalization/derealization since 13 years now and no doctor can ever help me. Not even thyroid medications help.

I've been sleeping on my belly for decades, and have researched it, and found it causes too much pressure on the lower back, because your back gets arched down ,which explains my back problems, I now sleep on my side, keeping my neck alighned with the spine with a firm pillow under my neck, and a pillow between my legs as they are in a semi fetal position, for alighnment for hips, sleeping on your back is the most recommended position!

For breathing purposes sleeping on your belly is fine. In fact doctors are starting to put COVID patients on there belly because they are better able to breath that way. Most of the expansion from breathing is in the back, so laying on your belly allows the back to expand better.
