I was wondering if Stewart was missing some of the jokes -- but there's a nice little moment toward the end when they cut back to Stewart after one of Thomas's quips and you see him quietly giggling. It's clear he finds Thomas funny.

How are some people missing the way two guys with wit and respect for each other enjoy playful ironic banter? Stewart misses nothing. He just lobs the ball back whence it came, and it’s all it great fun.

@PathosConsultingGroup8 жыл бұрын
silicon valley is the best comedy running and middleditch is still totally underutilized as a neurotic straight-man character. he's cut from the same cloth as jim carrey i think, in the sense that middleditch could pull off something broad and hammy but with an underlying intelligence. that's why he gets along so well with conan. he'd do well opposite steve martin as well.
@pcapusso8 жыл бұрын
yes, a million times times. i think the same thing!

The show really doesn't know what to do with Middleditch's character, he's always bumbling, complaining and demanding things it's not nearly as good or funny as it can be.
