Today we are working with two very difficult materials. Damascus Steel is very strong and Dinosaur bone can be very fragile. Because of the drastic differences in materials today's build is unique. We first cut the bone and shape it. We had to find a solution to cut the bone without it breaking in the clamps. Working with damascus steel can be very demanding on bits but with patience and precision you can see how we accomplished this. The final step is combining the two materials into a very unique and eye catching ring.

Ikr. It's like being in the mind of Meth Head, if I didn't know better I'd think it was all just hysterical nonsense. I mean, even down in Meth Alley I don't hear people talking about how difficult it is to make a ring out of dinosaur bone and how you've gotta use glue not clamps or the whole thing will just SHATTER! What a madman...

Nice work. Twisted Stainless Damascus is really hard to machine. TIP:Next time use rotating center in tail stock to support Damascus from one end. It will make parting and outside machinning easier. Also use low RPM for machinning similar materials. Looking forward for your next projects :)

I've never put bevels on a Damascus ring but I've put bevels on Damascus steel knife blade, but Damascus is great for blades it's a long hard process to make and to work with.

You can find large sheets of Dino bone fairly cheaply and widely available. At least, CLAIMING to be Dino bone. The material is the same stuff as Dino bone but there’s no real way to tell so it’s Dino bone.

@@PatrickAdairDesigns hi Patrick, this is Mike kirchner, I not 5 minutes ago responded to an email from Blake saying that Patrick Adair designs does not give out phone numbers to speak with people directly I responded to that email which you have and then came to the video and saw this exchange, and it is exactly the reason why I may not order rings from you, without a phone number to contact somebody with. It is very much too bad, because my fiance and I have not found any wedding bands that we like better than yours.
