This was very eye opening, I have been in the tech industry doing Audio Visual for a long time and there is just no growth so I am looking for a complete career shift. With my skills with people yet my lack of AE or sales experience, what is some advice you would lend to someone wanting to shift their career into sales?

Hey thanks for the comment, you can check out my previous videos on how to get a sales job with no experience. Let me know if that's what you're looking for.

Excellent 💜 Patrick i have heard that Co-workers are not your friends so how to build relationships at work to succeed faster than normal as it is said that network is networth ? Could you explain what one should be doing strategically in order to increase value & influence without being trapped in taking unwise steps or staying around losers.. People or experts on this issue have different and contradicting view points some say coworkers are not your friends, some say they can be friends..its confusing so last stop is i believe in your opinion about complex subjects...

Thanks for the detailed comment. This is a very nuanced question so I may not have a specific answer to your situation. But of course, it's ideal to keep a friendly environment with your coworkers because you're working with them everyday and may even need to gain a favor from them in the future. It depends on what your goals are, what industry you are in, what the current company culture is, but I wouldn't burn any bridges while achieving my goals. Hope that helps.

Patrick, if you are in Anime now, do you work for more than one companies in this field? If you do so, do they accept the fact that you are working also for their competition, not just for them?

Patrick does accsent matters in cold calls. Because I am from india and my native language and accsent is hindi and I call to us in english and I am not succeding in this game

Hi Adarsh, I would say it depends on your industry and what the standard expectations are. Accents or anything to do with your voice are just one of many things a lot of people have to slowly improve over time. It's not impossible to master, but it will take a lot of dedication.
