Glenn, I'm 62, and growing up, a kid a few years younger than me had an LS-6 4 spd Black with white stripes, I know it was an LS-6 as I changed bent pushrods in it and the covers had never been off, the valves were out of adjustment, and after I replaced the bent pushrods and set the valves, he said go ahead and take it for a ride, at the time it was blindingly fast and the tires could not hold that car, it did also have a 4:10 and we talked about switching his posi and gear into my 67 350 camaro which was a 4spd/3:31 rs/ss Tahoe turquoise black vynal, we lived in Madison Heights, Michigan.

I remember when we picked the car up in Mystic, Connecticut from the original owner, the guy's girlfriend was crying as it was driven away! I still remember that. My father always said to me.
