@@patrickhunter Hello from Portland Oregon, birthplace of Riot Tourism. Please come visit when you can for good food, drink, and campfire conversations. Things are going to be fine - be strong and resolute in what you know is right, be socially responsible, and this is actually going to end up better than people thought because honestly, I hold everyone that ever wished for all the stupid people to die responsible for the zeitgeist of *HELLO HUMANITY, WARMEST REGARDS, THE PLANET WITH A BIG HAMMER* 2020 has been because that's what's happening now that all the people at risk have cashed out the farm. Not to be depressing - I love my new fretless Heartfield DC-5 blueburst though. There's that...I mean, in Oregon the weed stores didn't even close, they just had curbside service for a while. That was surreal. Cops drive by and you're being handed weed in the parking lot and they don't bat an eye and the K-9 patrols show ZERO interest (to me, spinal damage, it's part of a quality of life management program, and legalizing in Oregon saved my health because people simply get busy dying when bedridden). I think the future is pretty good. Tons of great new music, kids all over the world are telling their local despots to piss up a rope and not backing off this time, we're not running out of medicine that I CONTROL any time soon (crops have been even better due to increased air quality from cars staying home), and the immortality shot is just around the corner (Ozzy sounds more coherent and legible than I've ever heard him and Iron Mike is communing with the Gods of War again...). I am not so disappointed, but I will would like the jetpack, too, please.

If any of you guys haven't seen any of his work, check his Instagram out; and if you need any repair work done, he is the guy to do it. My #1 was my P bass that Nick actually helped me put together, but then the neck picked up a twist that I haven't bee able to afford to repair, so the weight has fallen on my janky jazz bass copy. It has only one pickup, a DiMarzio Will Power, and I plan on filling in the bridge cavity, and repaint it all black. It isn't the best bass in the world, but she works for me, that's what matters.

I have 5 basses rn. My first is a Hohner Acoustic/Electric. Love that thing. Second is an active Squire Jazz with soap bar pickups. Love that thing, but it's ridiculously heavy. Probably one of the most comfortable necks I've played though. I have a Kramer Striker that I picked up in a pawn shop. It has... issues. It is my only bass with precision p-ups though so it's worth keeping around for the moment. Then there's my Glarry 5 string J copy. It's alright. Nice to have a 5 string around, and it looks gorgeous. can't say much else about it though honestly. And just two days ago I was given a bass made by my best friend's dad. Body is made of plywood, but it's been painted a real nice orange. Whatever neck he put on that thing is the most comfortable neck I've ever played on, and the knockoff Stingray pickup sounds really really good. Only has a volume knob, but what more do you need? Oh yeah and it looks like a telecaster with a stingray pickguard. Super weird, and I fucking love it
