I'm a table tennis player and teacher and I love watching you work. This man lacked so much confidencw and was doing all the wrong things to force his shot to work instead of letting his body take over. It was awesome to see you take him through the journey. Going to the net was a great idea to show him the extent he needed to brush the ball.

I totally get the student saying "why is it doing that?" We all think we should get every concept so quickly. Patrick's patience, repetition, and reinforcement when he gets it right is so good. Now the student has to come back and do it again, and again, and again .... Tennis is such a fantastic game.

Make sure teach beginners with close stand, that guy was hitting with "Open Stand" is much difficult with beginners. Like One Hand Backhand it too advance for beginners. Just saying.

Open stance is the best basic stance for beginners.

Some ppl with high muscle power will underestimate the kinetic chain and believe their arm can do all the work for tennis. Other problems are: - Lack of body parts coordination. - The feeling of objects moving in a space. - Spatial ability. >>> nice try Mr Patrick, i HOPE you could bring him to the level he and you want.

It’s interesting he’s constantly moving horizontally towards the ball but he’s getting to close and hitting to close to his body. He needs to extend the arm away from the body. His elbow is so bent
