Yes. Work without an internet connection, mirror the screen of any device without latency. With Apple TV and Chromecast, you do need an internet connection and you can stream only certain things. In other words, this device is more versatile. You should really view it as an invisible hdmi cable.

I'd like to get rid of ALL HDMI cables on the planet. They are the bane of my life. I love how we live in an age where you can't send 4k60hz over more than 2 meters, so your PC needs to be next to your TV. I'm sorry but I'm not spending £100 on this tech which will require ANOTHER power socket and may stop working after 2 days like all the other HDMI splitters/cables on Amazon. So sick of this problem. It seems I just can't have a stable connection from my RTX3070 to my 4k TV unless I pay mega bucks, and even then it's not guaranteed.

The connection devices, dongles,etc…seem like they would be a bit annoying & look a bit cluttered hanging off your laptop. If my laptop is fairly close to my external monitor, I may just stick with a single HDMI cable & simply hide the wire connection.
@PatrickRambles3 жыл бұрын
Sure, if you're close to your monitor, there isn't much of a point to this device. It's meant to be used when your device isn't close to your monitor/TV/projector and you'd have to run very long cables. What I like about it is that you can leave the receiver connected and just plug the transmitter into whatever device you want to use.

I am going to start sending you a bill for all of these videos. It is costing me a lot of money to watch them. I like to use the TV in the hotels as a monitor when I have a lot of spreadsheets or working with multiple window open on my computer. We now just need Apple to get full monitor support on the iPads. I could start traveling without my computer. Do you know how fast a power pack would last using this device? Does it use a lot of power consumption? If a person used the tinyRigs oriGrid on the back of the iPad and strapped a power pack to the back would be a way to stream from anywhere in a hotel room to the TV to make it even more portable. Requiring an external power source is my hang up on this device.

Great video, too expensive for what it does. I love cables; it reminds me of my days connecting a dozen pedals on my guitar to get that shoegazing sound. If you have a smart TV, why do you need this? Connecting an iPad into an external monitor does not make much sense to me. What for? To duplicate the screen? No matter how expensive they are, TV screens are for a TV, not for working on Word documents; the text does not look right. If you are doing graphics in Photoshop or Illustrator, a TV won't be a good choice. Get a proper 4K monitor, a bit expensive but worthy

I’m a fan of wireless solutions, but I also don’t want to be swimming in “wi-if soup” especially when living in an apartment with like 100 wireless signals and frequencies. A combination of wireless and data over power lines I reckon is the best combination as this covers each other’s strengths, weaknesses and still reduces cable clutter.
@WizzRacing3 жыл бұрын
Easy fix for that... Don't broadcast your WiFi... Turn that shit off... Just lookup your Router settings. There is an option to stop it...That way only you know it exist. It's totally invisible.. it also increases your speeds...As the router is not having to broadcast constantly...
