@youcometome9 there are various possibilities. 1. Its a kind of meat which is unusual possibly a warthog or antelope which is served in africa which may be s taboo for foreigners. 2.Bangladesi people know that hindus and several others dont eat beef so may be he is trying to hide its beef. 3.May be the soldier being told to serve the food himself dont know what the dish was so he was briefed in english. 4. I am a dumbass. 🤔

The food issue is more of a description problem for them. All white bird meat is simply called chicken by some nations within the UN as it just much easier to explain. Some nations have no idea what Turkey is so it is just easier to say to someone it is basically chicken for example. The UN food system means that when they place their order for food every month with the rations suppliers there will be substitutions where needed as long as they don't break any religious taboo's. If there is no chicken, they'll get turkey. If there is no lamb, it could be beef or goat. Remember these guys are being supplied as best as possible according to their requests but it is sometimes just not possible to get everything the ask for.

First of all all UN HELMETS are made out of plastic.You can clearly see it.So it's worthless of wearing the helmets all the time in this hot humid weather
@stahlhelmturtle9822
@stahlhelmturtle9822 3 жыл бұрын
@@britishempire3342 that is incorrect. When the UN was first formed this was true, but now the peacekeepers use actual ballistic helmets (made of aramid fiber) that they've painted blue. Although some ballistic helmets are made from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, which can be considered a type of plastic.

Doe3 John it depends how camouflaged you are as a journalist I would take mine off because a hi powered rifle round can go straight through your helmet and into your head so it’s better to bet that the spotter would be focused on everybody else and gives you a better chance

I've served on MINUSTAH peacekeeping mission in Haiti, 2011 and I've done combined Ops with the Bangladeshi, Nepali, Pakistani, Indian troops among many other nations. They're very knowledgeable about military doctrines and procedures, but the chaos and arguments despite the chain of command is something I saw myself. Something that the Force Commander back in 2011 said: " - Attention to details and your behavior when in public. You do not represent yourself, but the flag you bear and the institution you serve for."

A lot are ethnic tribes so it’s a way of life..special things they do for water and stay slow and in the shade during the day. Weaver nests you can attack at night for food and things like tying a bag around vegetation to trap the water when it tries to condense.
