Back in 26th December of 2015, I failed a shiny pinsir. It was apparently the second shiny pinsir found in the whole server too, and it stayed for like 12 balls surprisingly but I did give it bait once. Was very agonizing and I quit for a year but I got a lot of cool shinies since then. Just waiting for Johto and hoping for Pinsir hordes for a reclaim

I would hunt for 1 shiny ursaring during the winter and then buy a shiny off the GTL to breed it with and keep OT. Ill make a video on how to keep OT when shiny breeding hopefully in the near future.

My first ever, and only for a long while, shiny fail was a Carvanha in I believe it was Pokemon X? I wasn't even overlevelled or anything, nor did I have the shiny charm. Was legit just tryna catch a decent Water Type. Safe to say that 13 y/o me genuinely cried as he watched the health bar go from 100% to 0% thanks to a crit. Then PLA came along and so far I've failed about 4 shinies, including Mantine, Togepi and Chansey. Life is pain XD

The other night I killed a shiny Amoonguss by accident. Was hunting gligar, didn't know it had rage powder and waited till there was only 2 pokemon left. Used it and my haxorus 1 shot it T_T we back hunting though, 15,345 encounters and I WILL find this shiny Gligar!

It's a mod, it derps up evolution and HM uses (but some like lotad look hilarious). It's under Client Customization in the forums, I use HD battle sprites, but looking over the forums Battle Sprites Reloaded might be a newer option.
