This didn't feel all that long to me. I got a cup of coffee, as you suggested, and watched while sipping. You explain things very well and the time just flew by. I'm very, very new to stamping and need clear, detailed descriptions. You really took your time and gave some great advice. I like that you say it's ok to use trial and error and coupons! ^_^ Thanks for the great tutorial!

Thank you ever so much for that. I am totally new to crafting and looking on different websites etc had seen some cheap stamps so thought I'd give them a try. Oh my days, what a mess I made lol. Using the stiff gummy feeling stamps by themselves really was not successful other than to cover myself in ink. I want to Thank You so very, very much. So, for me I would start out with the die based ink (memento) as I could also do embossing with that. Are the cheaper inks die based? Does it say "Die Based" on the ink packaging? You really have taught me a few things I wouldn't have thought of. I wouldn't have known how to use the bigger stamp. I know this probably sounds funny, but I did see those smaller stamps in the store and wondered how you use them, now I know.

Hi Pat, What an amazing video, full of wonderful information! I was wondering if you could tell me where you purchased the last large rubber stamp from or who makes it? I googled for images and nothing came up. I grew up in Charleston and loved the stamp! Thank you so much and have a wonderful day!
@PatsTreasuresNCrafts10 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Well, I've located the stamp in my room lol - It doesn't have a name on it. However, it has a phone number which is 843-522-9966 The company name is Carolina Stamper and the stamp was made in 2001. I hope this helps you. I found this stamp at a thrift store so it was second hand to me so I can't even tell you what store to look at. If you don't have any luck with the phone number, you can try looking on Ebay or any of the other crafty sites. Have a great day ;)

I'm just getting started. I have a few supplies but I'm trying to get some tips and tricks from these videos before I go messing up my new paper products. this has been very helpful. I have block stamps and acrylic stamps but so far I have only picked up the small stamp pads from Michaels in the dollar bin. This video has helped me with the different types of stamp pads. I'm really looking at some of those distress inks but they are very expensive. I've watched the technique where you put them on with a sponge and I was wondering if it has to be the distress ink in order to do a little sponge painting or can I use the ink that I already have? Your advice would be very helpful and thank you very much for the video. God bless!

Jackie Wornell You can use the ink you already have. You can use any type of ink with a sponge. Just make sure you use a separate sponge for each color. Thanks for watching! Let me know if you have any questions.

@PatsTreasuresNCrafts9 жыл бұрын
Vivian Ginder Yes, you can use more than one color at a time. I use Stampin' Up's Stampin' Write Markers on my stamps. You also can use any marker that says it is specifically made for stamping. Those are usually sold at the big box craft stores, such as Michaels, AC Moore etc. The Stampin' Write markers can be purchased through my site, which is listed on my KZbin channel page. (Just click on my name and it will take you there) Thank you for your question and for watching! Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. ~ Pat :)

What brand of clear blocks are you using? Love the video as I am a newbie to the stamping world. Would love to know where a good clear alphabet (large letters) stamp to buy.
@PatsTreasuresNCrafts9 жыл бұрын
Rene' Dunbar I use Inkadinkado stamp blocks usually. Stampin' Up has some nice blocks, but I haven't used them so I can't really tell you too much about them. But from what I've seen, they're good ones. I don't have a "preferred" brand really. I look for blocks that are thick and easy to grip. The thinner blocks are kind of hard to stamp with. I believe Stampin' Up has a large alphabet stamp set. You could check. The link is on my KZbin channel page. Also, I know Hobby Lobby used to have a large alphabet stamp set. Not sure if they still sell it or not. I got one a few years ago from there. I hope that helps. Let me know if I can help you with anything else. It's my pleasure. TFW ~ Pat :)
