I am-4 4 years old and grew up in the 80s listening to stupid 80s music and then early R&B and rap in the rain 80s and early 90s. But I'll tell you, my grandparents, especially my grandmother, introduced and opened my eyes to the most beautiful music in the world. We had a jukebox in our restaurant for years. That's where I learned about Patsy and Ray Charles and Etta James. ❤❤❤❤

Now we also just lost Loretta Lynn on October 4, 2022. She died at age 90. She lived a very long, happy, productive life! Loretta’s and Patsy’s legacies have endured the test of time.

Tex was such a presence. Even talking to the audience, you could feel each word and expression he made. He was in the background on Marty Robbin's El Paso Video. At the end he says "now that's a song". The worst thing about yesterday is that it's almost a memory.

that lady really was an exceptional talent. her perfect pitch with every note straight on point, her phrasing, the depth in her voice, her flexibility, her delivery with words - even that early in her career. there are only VERY few voices that can keep up with hers.

Country music is by no means my preferred genre but I grew up with Patsy Cline. My grandma would always teach my cousin and I her songs and we would sing them and she recorded us. One of my dearest memories and therefore miss Patsy is so very special to me! What a voice. I’m 30 now and I can’t even imagine how much she had left to give the world.

She has impeccable. Vocal phrasing Right as she is winding up a vocal swell and she wags her gead slightly but very subtle Its like she is trying to keep a perfect metronome so her. Vocal phrase wind out at the perfect point. She is bloody flawless and sings from her heart
